Women's Golf
at Briar Ridge Invitational, Briar Ridge Country Club, Schererville, Indiana
The Chicago State women's golf team will compete in the final round of the Briar Ridge Invitational Sept. 26-27 at the Briar Ridge Country Club (6,086 yards, par 72) in Schererville, Indiana. The tournament began with 36 holes on Sunday and will play an additional 18 holes Monday. Participating teams include Northern Kentucky, IUPUI, Evansville, Chicago State, Morehead State, Green Bay and host UIC. The teams will have an 8 a.m. shotgun start Monday.

Men's Golf
at Derek Dolenc Invitational hosted by SIUE, Gateway National Golf Links, Madison, Illinois
The Cougars men's golf team will compete in the Derek Delenc Invitational hosted by SIUE on Sept. 27-28 at the Gateway National Golf Links (7,016 yards, par 71) in Madison, Illinois. The 14-team field will play 36 holes Monday and an additional 18 holes Tuesday. Tournament participants include SIUE, Austin Peay, Bradley, Chicago State, Detroit Mercy, Eastern Illinois, Green Bay, Missouri State, Murray State, New Orleans, Omaha, South Dakota, UT Martin, Weber State and Iowa. Each day will start with an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start.

Women's Volleyball
vs. Utah Valley, 6:00 p.m., Jones Convocation Center
The Chicago State volleyball team will host its first conference match of the season when Utah Valley comes to the Jones Convocation Center for a 6 p.m. date with the Cougars. The Cougars enter the contest with a 9-5 overall record and 1-1 in the WAC after beating Seattle U and losing to California Baptist. Utah Valley is 5-8, 0-2, losing to New Mexico State (3-1) and Grand Canyon (3-2).

October 1
Men's Soccer
vs. Air Force, TBD, SeatGeek Turf Field
The Chicago State men's soccer team will host the Air Force Academy on Thursday, October 1 at the SeatGeek Turf Field in Bridgeview. The match is currently scheduled for 7 p.m. but will likely change to a late afternoon start. The start time will be updated on GoCSUCougars.com and @ChiStateCougars Twitter. The Cougars enter Thursday's match with a 2-5-1 record and 0-1 in the WAC while the Falcons are 2-4-1 and 1-0 in the conference following a 2-0 win over San Jose State.

Men's and Women's Cross Country
at Gans Creek Classic hosted by the University of Missouri
The Chicago State men's and women's cross country teams are scheduled to run at the Gans Creek Classic on Friday, October 1 hosted by the University of Missouri. The men are scheduled to start an 8K race at 9 a.m., followed by the women who are schedule to start a 6K competition at 9:45 a.m.

at EIU Hidden Dual hosted by Eastern Illinois University, Darling Courts, Charleston, Illinois
The Chicago State men's tennis team will begin its fall schedule at the EIU Hidden Dual hosted by Eastern Illinois University October 1-2 in Charleston, Illinois.

Women's Soccer
at Abilene Christian, 1 p.m., Elmer Gray Stadium
The Cougars women's soccer will plays its first road conference game on October 2 against Abilene Christian at 1 p.m. at ACU's Elmer Gray Stadium. Chicago State will enter the contest with an 0-8-1 record following home conference losses against UTRGV and Lamar. Conference newcomer Abilene Christian is 3-4-1 overall and 1-0-1, with victories over the same two teams CSU hosted, tying Lamar 0-0 in two overtimes then defeating UTRGV 3-2 in overtime.

vs. Dixie State, 1:00 p.m., Jones Convocation Center
The volleyball team will play its second of consecutive home conference matches against Dixie State on October 2 at 1 p.m.

The men's tennis team will compete in Day 2 of the EIU Hidden Dual hosted by Eastern Illinois University.

Men's Soccer
vs. Grand Canyon University, Noon, SeatGeek Turf Field
CSU's men's soccer team will host its third consecutive home conference match on October 3, welcoming GCU to the SeatGeek Turf Field. GCU enters the contest with a 6-1 record (pending an Oct. 1 away match at Houston Baptist), including 1-0 in the WAC. The lone defeat for the Antelopes came against No. 5 Washington in Seattle by a score of 2-0.

Looking Ahead…
Men's and Women's Basketball begin practice…
Both the men's and women's basketball teams begin practice September 27 and full schedules have been announced for both teams, with the first home women's game scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 13 against the University of Alabama-Birmingham while the men will open with back-to-back home games against Division I opponents for the first time since 1989-90, welcoming St. Thomas on Nov. 9, followed by SIUE on Nov. 12.
