The Chicago State men's golf team is currently in a tie for fourth place following the second round of the Veterans Intercollegiate hosted by Bucknell University at Orange County National Crooked Cat course (par 72, 7388 yards) in Winter Garden, Florida. The Cougars shot a second-round 302 this afternoon in the nine-team field and are currently 28 shots off the lead.
Kieran Hogarth shot a second-round 75 after a two-under par 70 Sunday, and dropped from a tie for sixth overall to a tie for 10th.
Zack Phelps had the low round for Chicago State Tuesday, shooting 73. Complete results below.

About Chicago State
Chicago State University Athletics is comprised of 15 intercollegiate teams involving over 150 student-athletes that compete in basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, indoor and outdoor track and volleyball. CSU held memberships in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and NCAA Division II before transitioning to NCAA Division I in 1994. In 2021, three different CSU teams earned victories over Big Ten opponents with men's soccer beating Northwestern, women's basketball upending Wisconsin and volleyball, which established a school record 17 wins and hosted a post-season volleyball tournament for the first time in program history, swept Indiana in Bloomington.
