Outdoor Track & Field Begins This Weekend

This Week in Chicago State Athletics

March 28 
Men's Golf
at Aggie Invitational, All Day, Bryan Park Golf, Greensboro, North Carolina
The Chicago State men's golf team will return to the course for their first action since March 1, traveling to Greensboro, North Carolina to compete in the inaugural Aggie Invitational hosted by North Carolina A&T at Bryan Park Golf. The two-day event will conclude Tuesday, March 29.

at Aggie Invitational, All Day, Bryan Park Golf, Greensboro, North Carolina
The Chicago State men's golf team will compete in Day 2 of the inaugural Aggie Invitational hosted by North Carolina A&T at Bryan Park Golf.
 
Women's Tennis
at the University of Chicago, TBD, Stagg Tennis Courts, Chicago
The Chicago State women's tennis team will return to the court for their first action since March 13 against the University of Chicago at the Stagg Tennis Courts in Chicago. UC just claimed the ITA Division III National Team Indoor Championship title at the beginning of March and will bring a 10-1 record into Tuesday's match. The Cougars are currently 6-12 and looking to snap a four-match losing streak before beginning WAC pod play this weekend.
 
 
April 2
Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field
at the Joey Haines Invitational hosted by Southeast Missouri State, All Day, Abe Stuber Track Complex, Cape Girardeau, Missouri
The men's and women's outdoor track & field teams will begin their season at the Joey Haines Invitational hosted by Southeast Missouri State at the Abe Stuber Track Complex in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Field events will begin at 11 a.m. and running events at noon.
 
Women's Tennis
vs. New Mexico State, 5 p.m., Seattle University Tennis Courts, Seattle, Washington
The Chicago State women's tennis team will begin Western Athletic Conference pod play against New Mexico State at the Seattle University Tennis Courts in Seattle on Saturday, April 2 at 5 p.m. The Aggies opened WAC play over this past weekend and will have four conference matches under the belt prior to facing CSU on April 2.
 
 
April 3
Women's Tennis
at Seattle U, 11 a.m., Seattle University Tennis Courts, Seattle, Washington
The Chicago State women's tennis team will its first Western Athletic Conference pod against host Seattle U at the Seattle University Tennis Courts on Sunday, April 3 at 11 a.m. The Redhawks enter the week with a 1-10 record and will play their first conference match Friday, April 1 against Grand Canyon.
 
Women's Golf
at the Joey Haines Invitational hosted by Southeast Missouri State, All Day, Abe Stuber Track Complex, Cape Girardeau, Missouri
The Chicago State women's golf team will return from a two-week hiatus to compete in the Indiana State Invitational hosted by Indiana State University at the Country Club of Terre Haute on Sunday, April 3 in a two-day event concluding with 18 holes Monday.

The Cougar Pride Fund, an annual giving component benefiting student-athlete scholarships and sport program operations, is in its second year and offers a variety of membership levels. As a foundational-level member of the Cougar Pride Fund, members will be witness to the unfolding of an era of growth within Chicago State University's athletic programs.
