The Chicago State Athletic Department announced today that Emily Andrews has been named an athletic trainer.
Andrews spent the previous two years as the lead football and men's volleyball athletic trainer at North Park University. Prior to her time at North Park, Andrews spent one year as an assistant athletic trainer at Lake Forest College, providing direct medical coverage for the men's soccer, women's ice hockey and women's lacrosse programs.
Andrews earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at East Carolina University then went on to serve as the graduate assistant athletic trainer at Aurora University, earning her Masters in Exercise Science. While attending Aurora, Andrews was selected for the 2021 NCAA Emerging Leaders seminar.
