The Chicago State men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Redbird Classic Friday afternoon in Normal, Illinois. The men had four runners and did not qualify for the team standings while the women finished 1th.
Victor Herrera was the top finisher for the men, placing 86th with a time of 35:30.90 followed by teammate
Jaden Laster who finished 88th with a time of 37:11.00. On the women's side,
Weronika Stanczak was Chicago State's lead runner, finishing 48th in 24:34.10.

The Cougars will be back on the course Friday, September 20, competing in the Jaguar Invitational hosted by IU Indianapolis.
