CHICAGO - The Chicago State men's tennis team fell to Cleveland State on Sunday.
Chad Valdes had a good match at No. 1 singles forcing the match to three sets after winning the second set 6-4 before falling 1-0 in extras. Valdes combined with Andrei-Rares Negrut at No. 1 doubles where they fell to the Vikings top dude of Lincoln Battle and Devin Boyer, 6-3.
Chicago State is back on the court next weekend with a pair of conference matches against the Vikings and Youngstown State.
