2016: Made 14 appearances and earned a starting assignment during first year at CSU… finished the season with eight strikeouts over 18.1 innings thrown… tallied first collegiate save in season opener at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (2/19) after pitching three scoreless innings and recorded a season-high two strikeouts… also struck out two batters in two relief innings against Utah Valley (5/19)… captured CSU Scholar-Athlete and  Academic All-Western Athletic Conference recognition.

2015 (Elgin CC): Appeared in 11 games a reliever during sophomore season at Elgin while recording nine strikeouts over 13 innings thrown… equaled season highs of two strikeouts and two innings at Harper College… also recorded two strikeouts against Sauk Valley CC and Moraine Valley CC… earned Academic All-Illinois Skyway Conference honors.

2014 (Elgin CC): Recorded 23 strikeouts over 23.2 innings of work through eight appearances in first collegiate season at ECC… tallied career highs of six strikeouts and seven innings pitched as he posted his first-ever win against Highland CC while allowing a run on three hits… also produced six strikeouts and walked four in five innings at Carl Sandburg College… received Academic All-Illinois Skyway Conference accolades following the season.

Prep: Three-year letterwinner as a pitcher and third baseman at Huntley… made the school’s Dean’s List in three of his four years of high school.

Personal: Son of Kevin and Kim Perkins… majoring in biology… has played at almost every level of baseball with brother, Jake, who is also a senior on the CSU baseball team.
