2014: Played in 30 games with 27 starts at first base…recorded three hits, two RBI and a walk at Northwestern (April 23)…knocked in four runs thanks to a 3-run home run vs. Wabash (April 22)…recorded two hits, a run scored and an RBI vs. North Dakota (April 18)…added two runs scored, two hits and two RBI at New Mexico State (May 15 and May 17)…recorded two runs, a hit and a two stolen bases vs. Northern Colorado (May 9)...also made four relief appearances on the mound...struckout all three batters he faced in an innning vs. Wabash (April 22)...allowed two runs in 3.0 innings with two strikeouts at Bakersfield (April 12).

2013 (at McHenry County College): Lead the team in batting average (.432), on base percentage (.508) and slugging percentage (.665) and home runs (5)…had 50 RBI, 17 doubles, two triples and 12 stolen bases.

2012 (at McHenry County College): Hit .358 with 49 RBI, 10 doubles and four home runs…was named Illinois Skywalk First Team All-Conference and took home a Region 4 Gold Glove.

Prep: Lettered in baseball and basketball in school.

Personal: Played for the Elgin Force Elite Aces in 2011-12…made the Metro Collegiate League All-Star Team after leading the league in hitting (.368)…son of Tim and Caron Schmidt…undeclared.
