Prep: Competed in track & field and cross country at Oswego... best time in the mile run outdoors was 4:38... notched a time of 9:53 in the 3,200-meter run as a junior... member of the Captain's Council and made the high honor roll as a freshman... ran seventh in the nation for the 3,000-meter run and finished 25th at a junior high state meet in 2008.

Personal: Son of Harold and Erica Barnes.
